Welcome to Compassionate Self, a therapy
practice dedicated to providing a safe, supportive,
and empowering space for your journey toward healing
and growth. I believe in the power of compassionate
care that affirms your unique identity and
experiences. My practice is built upon the core values
of person-centered care, an anti-oppressive framework,
and a commitment to being LGBTQ+ inclusive,
neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed. I also
believe in the power of shared experience in fostering
self-compassion. Group therapy is a valuable part of my
practice, as it provides opportunities to foster
self-compassion, connection, and a sense of community,
reminding us that we are not alone in our struggles.
In both group and individual therapy sessions you can
expect a non-judgmental space where your thoughts,
feelings, and experiences are met with empathy and
understanding. I understand that seeking therapy is a vulnerable process, and I strive to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and respected. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, recognizing your inherent strengths and capacity for growth.
